CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS 2008 FALL FAIR October 11-12 Volunteers will be needed for the gate collections, booth sitters on the 11-12 and (set-up on the 10th.) All volunteers will be invited to attend the Saturday night dinner. These are only (4) hour shifts. You do not need to be a KGAC member to participate as a volunteer. If you are willing to help, please call the office and give Glenna your name, number, e-mail and the day and time you can help. The KGAC board wants to thank everyone for their help in the past and look forward to seeing many of you again in October.
2008 KGAC AUGUST JURY SESSION The Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen would like to invite all Kentucky artists and craftsmen to participate in our summer jury session. We are accepting applications until July 19th. The Standards Jury Session will be held on August 5. All specific information and application for the summer jury session can be found on our website @ www.kyguild.org .
KGAC Exhibiting Membership is open to all Kentucky artists and those who live within 50 miles of Kentucky border and submit work that passes the KGAC Standards Jury Process. Some of the many benefits of Exhibiting Members include; statewide exhibit opportunities, opportunities to exhibit at Guild fairs, invitations to KGAC and other Exhibit openings and inclusion in the KGAC referral service for businesses and individual artists and craftsmen working in specific mediums.
KGAC would like to expand our Exhibiting Membership of artist and craftsmen to represent all areas of the state. We are the oldest juried membership organization for artists and craftsmen in Kentucky. We are your organization.

From Matthew Gaddie The Meadows Pottery kiln firing will be hosting a number of artists including a group from Bear Mill Pottery, Greenville, Ohio, beginning July 25, 2008. The wood kiln, located at 2186 Woodlawn Road, Bardstown, will allow each artists approximately 10-12 cu. feet of space. All spots have been filled but anyone interested in observing the firing can call 502-460-0456.
