Each month from January1, 2011 until December 31,2011 someone will be the receipt of a beautiful piece of handmade piece of jewelry. You may purchase your $20.00 ticket for the drawing that will take place on October 10, 2010. The winner will be notified and starting in January will receive a selected piece made by one of our juried Kentucky Guild artists each month.

2011 February 9th JURY SESSION APPLICATION IS ON THE WEBSITE.

New Artist Change: As of August 1st, 2009, as a condition of juried status into the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen, [ new artists ] will be required to participate a minimum of once bi-annually in KGAC activities, either as an exhibitor in the Spring or Fall Art Fair or as a volunteer at one of these events in order to maintain their juried status.

KGAC Exhibiting Membership is open to all Kentucky artists and those who live within 50 miles of Kentucky border and submit work that passes the KGAC Standards Jury Process. Some of the many benefits of Exhibiting Members include; statewide exhibit opportunities, opportunities to exhibit at Guild fairs, invitations to KGAC and other Exhibit openings and inclusion in the KGAC referral service for businesses and individual artists and craftsmen working in specific mediums.

Get ready for 2010 and 2011
The Exhibit Committee is currently working to prepare the KGAC exhibit schedule for the next two years. The 50th year Celebration of the KGAC organization will be in 2011.
We will be accepting donations for a major project to preserve the 50 years of guild history in photography, which will become part of a major exhibit in a major venue during 2011. This exhibit will also contain work of all our members, who wish to participate. More information will be sent out, as soon as the venue and date are finalized.
