William S. Brown, a self-taught artist, was born in Danville, Va., but has lived in Kentucky since 1971. He began his art career in 2001 after retiring from his professional career as an anesthetist. Bill is a member of the Kentucky Guild of Artist and Craftsmen and the Guild for Artists with Disabilities.
His work is currently displayed at the Kentucky Artisan Center, the Folk art Center and available at the prestigious Ralice Gallery, Ft. Mitchell, Ky.
