As a native of Eastern Kentucky I enjoy showcasing the natural beauty and culture of the Appalachian region. My approach is to capture a particular mood using natural lighting and the elements of nature.

Whether it is mist silently floating through a grove of old pines or the dynamics of a raging snowstorm, I strive to capture the “spirit” of a place.

My first book, Spirit of Appalachia Kentucky, has been a huge success and will be followed later this summer with Appalachia – Spirit of the Seasons. These books and my fine art photography are sold at local and regional art fairs, through our website, and also my studio, “Gallery of the Hills.”
