I was born in Memphis and have lived in Colorado, Massachusetts, and Kentucky. I have been an artist most of my life and have extensive experience in Clayboard Etching (scratchboard), acrylics, gouache, watercolor, and colored pencils, with my favorite subjects being birds and wildlife of all kinds.

I obtained a degree from the Art Institute of Cincinnati where I earned honors in graphic arts and have won awards in mixed-media including a "Best of Show" award at a 2007 regional invitational art show and First Place in a 2008 & 2009 regional art show. I have sold many of my original works and offer note cards and framed, numbered & signed prints of my art.
