Fran’s passion has been making beaded jewelry since 1996, when she happened upon her first bead store. Her skill and style has been refined to produce wearable works of art, primarily using seed-beads and thread. Having dabbled in lampwork glass bead-making, silversmithing, and precious metal clay (PMC), Fran always comes back to beadweaving as her first love. Inspiration for pieces come from nature, fashion, and other works of art. Often, in the creative process, the beads themselves dictate what is made so that a truly one-of-a-kind piece is born. Fran’s pieces have been featured in a variety of beading magazines, giving her world-wide exposure.
