Karen Higdon and Kay Ragland teach classes, weave, and vend together until the name Two K’s Baskets. Kay first learned to weave by taking an enrichment class at the University of Kentucky and Karen learned by taking classes from Kay. Both Kay and Karen have served as board members of the Kentucky Basket Association, with Kay being one of the founding members. For both of us, weaving is a wonderful hobby that we love to share both through teaching classes and at various craft fairs throughout Kentucky.

Our baskets are woven from natural and dyed reed, and occasionally some cane. We decorate using a variety of materials to enhance the beauty of the basket. We also try to keep on hand a variety of sizes and shapes, as well as decorations for any décor or holiday. If we do not have what someone wants we will gladly take special orders.
