I am a native Kentuckian, and current resident of the historic “Butchertown” area of Louisville. I grew up in the suburbs, but over the course of a lifetime, have migrated to an area that is rich with the history of Louisville and the Ohio River. I am a collector by nature, and have a passion for all things historic.

My body of photographic work is a collection of sorts . . . of the places and things that move me. I am particularly attracted to architectural elements, historic common day objects, repetitive details, deep shadows, and old worn photographs. Through my photography, I have been allowed to combine all of these passions while attempting to collect our vanishing material history. In sharing my photographs with an audience, it is my hope to create, or encourage, a sense of appreciation and nostalgia for who we are and where we’ve been.
