Ralph continuously strives to bring a fresh perspective to the composition. “One freezes time in a photograph. The camera lens captures a moment, which can never be duplicated. Ralph’s mission is to share some of these unique instances. He is hopeful that his work will spark nostalgic memories and an appreciation for the spectacular beauty that surrounds us”.

Ralph developed an interest in photography rather late in life. He is an avid reader of photography magazines and books. He has also had the privilege of attending many workshops, taught by both local and nationally recognized photographers. Ralph is a juried member of the Kentucky Arts Council “Crafted at the Market” program, Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen, Winchester Art Guild and organizer of the Lexington Photography Group.

In 2009, Ralph retired from a corporate career to devote more time to photography and opened a Studio/Gallery in Winchester, Kentucky. Ralph enjoys photographing landscapes, nature and wildlife. He also does picture framing, senior pictures and portraits. He participates in several art fairs and exhibits each year.
